University of Virginia

Woohoo, you found a chapter near you! Are you doing your happy dance yet?? Now is your chance to belong to a community that will have your back, lift you up, see your greatness, and listen to what you have to say. It's a community that not only lives in your town, but exists all around the world. Joining a local chapter will light you up from the inside out - you will get to express, discover and love exactly who you are alongside girls doing the same. You will be part of a culture that stands for each other and speaks whatever truth there is to share, without limitations.

I feel like girls are most vulnerable to negative self-concepts when they lack a stable support system. That’s why I think this organization is an amazing thing to be a part of — it brings girls together to love one another and support each other.

I always find myself in a situation where I am helping women make strong decisions and I would like to be a part of a larger movement with the same mission. I want to spread the messages that my friends and I share amongst ourselves and what I’m proud of in the characteristics of my male friends – respect, independence and strength etc.
