BRAVE LEADERSHIP

‘Leadership’...kind of a buzzword, right? In school, leadership looks like SGA Presidents and Homecoming Queens; straight A students and basketball stars. Once you get to college, it can look like impressive internships or student leadership positions on campus. But what if leadership isn’t so much about the things you can do, but more about learning to be brave with yourself and the world around you? There are a thousand different pre-scripted ways the world says you can be a leader, but they usually come in the shape of a HOW. We want to spend some time focusing more on the WHO behind the leadership position, and the WHY behind the WHO. And all that? It takes bravery.

There’s a popular belief that it takes 21 days to form a habit. And while habits like brushing your teeth or going on walks are important, so are the habits that are less obvious from the outside. This is thirty days of choosing to look in the proverbial mirror to see all of your WHY and WHO. This is a month of redefining leadership in the traditional sense, and holding your hands open to different definitions. This is a journey - step by step - towards yourself, in order to find the leader you already are.

YOU are a leader. And YOU are brave.
