Every once in a while we all get to a point where we need a little TLC… tender loving care. We can only go so long before needing some “me time” that allows us to recharge. These times of relaxation can turn into times of self-love and reflection… if you allow them to.
Life is busy. We all get overwhelmed with the day-to-day and tend to get caught up in what’s going on right in front of us. Sometimes we fail to notice what the bigger picture is. I know that when I have a to-do list that’s filled all the way to the bottom of the page, I can’t seem to focus on anything else but getting everything done. I get stressed out and don’t give myself the love I deserve. When I find myself getting to my breaking point, I take a step back and realize that I need to give myself some me-time.
I’ve learned to be patient with myself, because life tends to move faster than it needs to. Making sure I give myself some TLC has moved to the top of my list, because in order to share happiness with others, I need to be happy myself.
The greatest piece of advice I was ever given was that in order to pour into someone else’s cup we first have to refill our own. So have you given yourself “me-time” in awhile?

In order for you to be THAT GIRL for others, you first have to be THAT GIRL for yourself!
THAT GIRL is the best version of herself and she can find the beauty within her because what’s on the inside is what matters.
THAT GIRL loves herself and gives herself TLC when she needs it.
THAT GIRL supports herself by knowing when she needs some “me-time.”
THAT GIRL gives back to her during times where she allows herself to recharge.
THAT GIRL learns the truth about her and knows herself well enough to be confident in her own skin.
Everyone has moments when they need to find their happiness again. Here are a few things you can do when you need to recharge and find the beauty within all of the madness of your day-to-day life.
Write. Pick up a pen and tell that piece of paper how you feel. Write until you can’t write anymore and you find yourself smiling.
Leave your phone at home and go on an outdoors adventure.
Take a bubble bath and read a good book.
Call an old friend and meet up with them for coffee.
Spend time doing what you love to do and immersing yourself in your passions.
So take time to relax and see the beauty, not only within the madness of life, but within yourself. Happy soul searchings!
