I AM THAT GIRL is building a community that inspires girls to discover their innate worth and purpose.
OUR WHY
The media plays a dominant role in influencing girls’ perceptions of the world around them, as well as helping them to define their sense of self.
The current state of negative media is a global health crisis for girls; causing mental, physical and emotional illness.
We seek to be the solution. By building community and providing girls with a space to consume healthy media, we can silence their crippling self-doubt long enough for girls to think for themselves, discover their voice and speak their truth. This community that provokes meaningful and mindful conversations enables girls to have a higher sense of self worth.

THAT GIRL resides in all of us; all ages, ethnicities, classes and religions.
THAT GIRL is the best version of each of us. She’s compassionate, honest, and contribution-minded. While she is forever a work in progress, she seeks to be confident in her own skin.
OUR CREEDO
Being THAT GIRL is an identity, a responsibility, and an opportunity for us to stand for something bigger than ourselves and to lift each other up. Being THAT GIRL means that we recognize our worth, that we’re perfectly flawed and sublimely beauty-full. Every time we look in the mirror, we are reminded that we are the author of our own lives, that we believe in the power of our dreams, feel gorgeous inside and out and we reinvent ourselves in to whoever we choose to be.
